Forest

Small tray-size foldable tables are created with an instruction in order to help customers participate to make one for themselves in their community and use it for a community gathering. The design of the table is motivated by the way of banquet during the Chosun Dynasty in Korea, particularly used as the individual table for the guests sitting separately in a row.

Forest can be made by local tree with customized design and be used individually as well as putting together one by one for a big gathering. For the further development, I took a part in Restaurant Day event with the tables to create intimate atmosphere. People were naturally sat at the tables with strangers starting to chat.
